Senior Strategist

Landor & Fitch is seeking an extraordinary Senior Strategist, for our vibrant and multidisciplinary Mexico City studio to unlock business growth for our clients.

 

The role

Senior Strategists influence senior level thinking and move the client to action. They own projects and assume leadership roles to mentor junior members of the team and lead projects within multidisciplinary teams, delivering extraordinary client work and growing client accounts.

You will

You will have a strong balance of thought and action and a passion for understanding a client’s business and arriving at insights that solve their challenges via their brand.

You will be an analytical, critical thinker with an expert-level understanding of branding, business, and strategic planning. You will lead large complex projects with executive business acumen. You will have an inherent curiosity and be an innovative thinker with the ability to see the big picture, present and future, and explore those possibilities with a finger on the pulse of design and technology. We want a collaborative, passionate and enthusiastic approach grounded in firm strategy but flexible enough to excel in a changing world.

Required skills

  • Proven experience leading and developing a range of brand positioning and brand architecture challenges.
  • Create compelling reports and deliverables
  • Ability to work with clients and senior management on all levels from the CEO to administrative support, negotiation, management experience, passion for brands, experience facilitating or leading marketing/brand management teams.
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives.
  • Comfortable working in a high visibility environment, dealing with ambiguity, and managing different priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work across multiple sectors, from corporate B2B to B2C and CPG brands.
  • True team player who knows when to lead and when to follow in order to advance collaboration and work effectively with colleagues, clients and partners.

 

Required experience

  • College degree (BA or equivalent), with relevant focus such as market research, marketing, communication, social sciences, business or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a range of strategic brand solutions
  • At least 2-3 year’s experience in project leadership and/or team management
  • Excellent verbal and written Spanish and English skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, specifically powerpoint.
