About the Role

We are looking for a developer to work on an agile cross-functional team that values collaboration and innovation. As a developer, you’ll be joining the digital team and reporting to the Tech Director. This a very dynamic team made of driven and talented people who are passionate about shaping digital led strategies and creating innovative solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for software development from idea to code and test. You will be involved on many brands projects across the group, including our internal brand projects.

Technical skills

  • Advanced Javascript skills, and ECMAScript latest features
  • Extensive experience with frameworks (React, Vue, Angular etc.)
  • Create well-structured CSS, and experience with associated tools
  • Experience of various animation techniques, (CSS, Framer, React-Spring etc.)
  • Experience with and strong interest in WebGL and ecosystem (ThreeJS, React-Three-Fiber etc.)
  • Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards
  • Experience working in a professional development team, and familiarity with modern processes, code-reviews, pull-requests, continuous integration etc.
  • The role is predominantly front-end focussed, but experience with back-end platforms and tools is a big plus

Personal experience & attributes

  • Portfolio of commercial work containing rich animated UIs
  • Commitment to artistry, and finessing your UI work to the highest standard
  • You can explain complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience (both customers and internal stakeholders)
  • You are a team player who excels at rallying and partnering with various cross-function stakeholders
  • You recognize opportunities to adopt innovative technologies to enable business capabilities
  • You have a creative mindset, and can work easily with the design team
  • Some agency experience is a big plus
